Update on Patronage at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability

The Royal Hospital for Neuro-Disability (RHN) has been informed by the office of Their Majesties The King and Queen that, following a comprehensive review of the Royal Patronages after the change of reign in September 2022, His Majesty The King will not be able to continue the Patronage of our hospital at this time.

This decision comes as part of the review initiated due to the death of our previous patron, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, whose support greatly benefited the hospital over the years. While the conclusion of this patronage review may be disappointing, the RHN respects and understands the complexities involved in the selection process, considering many outstanding organisations.

The RHN remains dedicated to providing exemplary care and advancing our work in the field of neuro-disability. We will continue to uphold the high standards of service and commitment that were recognised and supported by our Royal Patronage.

We extend our gratitude to Their Majesties for their interest in and support of our work during the review process and appreciate their warm wishes for our future endeavours. The RHN looks forward to continuing our important work and to seeking new opportunities to raise awareness and support for our cause. We remain committed to enhancing the lives of all those affected by neuro-disability, and we are excited about the future of our organisation.
