Epilepsy Awareness with Buccal Midazolam Administration

This course aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of Epilepsy, detailing the various forms of this condition and the current treatment options available. Additionally, it offers guidance on how to effectively support someone experiencing a seizure. You will also undergo extra training to gain knowledge about the theory and practical aspects of administering Midazolam Buccal. This training will be in line with the standards set by the Joint Epilepsy Council for education in this field and a competency assessment will be conducted on the same day.

Recognition and Management of Deteriorating Adult (RMDA)

The Recognition and Management of Deteriorating Adults is designed to develop transferable clinical skills applicable across a range of healthcare settings, with particular emphasis on community practice. The course focuses on early recognition and management of patient deterioration, including airway management, structured clinical assessment and effective communication. It supports learners to work within professional and legal boundaries, recognise escalation needs and respond confidently to emergencies as part of a multidisciplinary team.
